What we collect

Nothing. Foldie has no servers. Your to-dos, money entries and settings are stored on your iPhone; the developer can’t see them and the app never uploads them. If iCloud Backup is on, they are backed up with your phone like any other app’s data (kept by Apple). There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics.

Your account

A password account’s nickname and password are kept only in this iPhone’s Keychain; the password is stored as a salted hash, never as plain text. With Sign in with Apple (including when you add an Apple account to a password account), the app keeps only the user identifier Apple gives this app — it is different for every developer and can’t be used to recognize you elsewhere — and the name you chose to share. It doesn’t keep your email and never sees your Apple Account password.

Face ID and passcode

When you unlock Foldie or verify yourself to reset a password, iOS does the check. The app only learns whether it passed; it never receives face data or your passcode.

Purchases

Foldie Pro is bought and renewed through the App Store, and Apple handles payment. The developer never receives your payment details; the app only asks the App Store whether you have a membership.

Notifications

Task reminders and the nightly bookkeeping reminder are local notifications scheduled on your phone. They don’t go through any server.

Photos

When you save a report or your welcome receipt to Photos, the app asks only for permission to add photos. It never reads anything in your photo library.

Export and sharing

Backup files and report images are created only when you tap Export, Save or Share, and you decide where they go.

Deleting your data

In Settings › Profile, tap Delete Account (Delete All Data when you’re not signed in) to remove the account and all to-dos, money entries and settings from this iPhone. Deleting the app removes your to-dos, entries and settings; the account in the Keychain is kept by iOS and cleared by the app the next time it’s installed — use Delete Account to be sure everything goes. If you used Sign in with Apple, you can also stop using it for Foldie in iPhone Settings › Apple Account › Sign in with Apple.

Children

Foldie isn’t designed for children and doesn’t knowingly collect anyone’s personal information.
